Peanut Butter Co.

If you're the person who can't live without peanut butter in your cupboard, then this one is definitely for you. But if you're a person who doesn't want anything to do with peanut butter, just read on. You just might change the way you think about this classic spread.

Peanut Butter started out in the late 1800s as a protein substitute for people with poor teeth. Since the first patent, peanut butter instantly reached the local grocery stores. By the first decade of the 20th century, peanut butter became so popular in the United States that it is dubbed as the American Favorite. The process of making a PB is made by roasting then grinding the peanuts, and then salt, sweetener and stabilizers are added to keep the oil from separating.

Peanut Butter Co. is the first peanut butter store in the country with a diverse menu made not only for snack but also for meal time. Menu includes Specials such as BBQ Wings, Fish n' Chips; Past such as the Classic Spaghetti, Cold Asian Noodles; The Sandwiches which is classified into 3: The all-time favorites, sweet sandwiches and the hot sandwiches.

Even the classic American beverages like the soda float and milkshakes are served in PB Co. And if you're not into milkshakes, then check out the horde of sodas they have: Coca-Cola Cherry, Fanta, Hawaiian Punch, Welch's, Sunkist Fusion, A&W and more.

The Sandwiches at PB Co. are prepared with their own peanut butter spreads. The spreads include the traditional Creamy and Crunchy Peanut Butter for P180 a bottle.

They also have Gourmet Peanut Butter spreads. Unique concoctions include Chili, Butter, Cinnamon, White Chocolate, Sun Dried Tomato, Dark Chocolate, Curry, Green Tea, Sesame and Cardamon for P210 per bottle. Now that's 10 more reasons for you to love peanut butter and PB Co.
Sandwiches are served half or whole. You can get the favorable PB & J, a plain sandwich with your own choice of PB Co. spread or PB Co's gourmet sandwiches.
Marshmallow Peanut Butter Sandwich. Creamy Peanut Butter and Marshmallow cream. Half at P75, Whole at P135.

Peanut Butter BLT Sandwich. Sun Dried Tomato Peanut Butter, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato. Half at P85, Whole at P155.

Green Tea Vanilla Sandwich. Green Tea Peanut Butter, Rice Crispies and Vanilla Cream Cheese. Half at P75, Whole at P135.

All I can say is, the sandwiches are perfect! A little pricey but delectably worthwhile.
BBQ Wings. Barbecue Chicken Wings with Chili Peanut Butter. P125.

The sauce is American-Style which reminds me of Kansas City's famous barbecue. The chili peanut butter looks out of place but in actuality, it complements the dish. The only problem is the chicken wings are small--the size of my thumb apiece.
Soda Float Cup. Vanilla Ice Cream with Regular Soda. P120.

The Soda Float Cup is a shocker. The large cup is filled with yummy vanilla ice cream. Regular in-can soda is given on the side. Devour half the vanilla ice cream in the cup and you still have a lot more for a soda float.

A week ago, you can say that I'm a fan of peanut butter. After visiting PB Co., I am officially a peanut butter lover! Compare my visit to PB Co. to a child visiting a theme park for the first time. That's how fun-filled is my day at Peanut Butter Co. True indeed, they spread life's simple comforts.
Visit Peanut Butter Co. at SM Mall of Asia's north arcade, SM North Edsa near the entrance of the Sky Garden (closest to The Annex) and at SM Clark's Meeting Place.

P.S. November is Peanut Butter Lovers Month. PB Co. offers special weekend treats every Friday to Sunday of the month. Last weekend's Weekend Wonderfulls is a free Hot Beverage with a purchase of a whole sweet sandwich. Check PB Co.'s Facebook Page for more details.

  1. I love it too.:) And because it's Christmas season, PB and Co. even made small sizes of their assorted Peanut Butter flavors for only P50. I'm tempted to buy everything! Hahaha.:)
